Frequently Asked Questions

Is this the same as designer perfume?

No, and we do not claim it is. Scentra creates premium fragrances inspired by iconic scents and is not affiliated with any designer brands. All trademarks and brand names belong to their respective owners. What you are buying is an extrait de parfum composed to our own formula, sold at a price that reflects what is in the bottle rather than what is on it.

What is extrait de parfum?

It is the highest concentration of aromatic compounds in commercial fragrance — higher than eau de parfum, considerably higher than eau de toilette. In practice it means fewer sprays, longer wear, and a scent that develops on the skin over hours rather than fading in one.

How long will it last on me?

Between six and twelve hours depending on the fragrance and your skin. We list expected longevity and sillage on every product page. Dry skin holds fragrance poorly — apply to moisturised skin and you will get noticeably more out of it.

How many sprays should I use?

Two is usually enough. This is extrait, not eau de toilette, and over-applying is the most common mistake people make when they move up in concentration.

Which one should I buy?

Start from the notes rather than the name. Our fragrance guide explains how to read them, and every product page lists the top, heart and base of each fragrance along with how it wears. Azure and Glacier Bloom are the easiest to wear day to day, Belle is soft and warm, Glacier Noir and Rogue belong to the evening, and Apex is the boldest of the six. Every bottle ships with a 5ml tester, so you can carry it for a week before deciding it is yours.

If you would rather just ask, message us on WhatsApp and tell us when you would wear it and what you like — we will point you at one of the six.

Does every bottle really come with a tester?

Yes. Every 50ml bottle ships in the French Collection box with a matching 5ml tester, so you have something to carry and something to keep at home.

Are these suitable as gifts?

They arrive gift-ready. The French Collection box is finished in dark green and gold foil with a card inside — nothing extra to buy and nothing to wrap.

How should I store it?

Away from heat, light and humidity. Not the bathroom. A drawer or closed cupboard will keep an extrait in good condition for years.

Are they tested on animals?

No.

Where are they made?

Pakistan.
